Torrential rain 4.45pm Crosby Coastal Park ⛈️

Classic #Cumulonimbus clouds this afternoon 4.30pm to 4.50pm over Crosby Marina and Coastal Park..the only cloud type that can produce rain,hail,thunder and lightning ⛈️ And did it live up to its reputation oh yes #flashflooding 🌧 The distinctive dark wall hanging underneath 🌩

The average risk of being killed and struck by lightning in the UK is 1 in 33 million. So the chance of my 3 grandkids x 3 being struck by the electrical activity over Crosby Marina yesterday was well worth the risk🌩 Ran for their lives when it happened though 😉 #thunderclap
