It would be great if Apple expanded this F1 The Movie "Haptic Trailer" iPhone feature to all Apple TV+ content. Almost like the Music Haptics accessibility feature in Apple Music.

New icons in the App Menus in the Menu Bar in Tahoe will take a moment to get used to. The only symbols my brain usually looks for are the keyboard shortcuts. I imagine the 'About This Mac' icon changes based on which device you're on.

I would have thought that Intel macs would have be dropped before any iPods. This means that other FireWire AV accessories won't work either. I remember ripping my family's home Hi8 tapes via a DV camcorder and FireWire to my first mac.

It is interesting to see what Camera and Preview look like in iOS 26 without Liquid Glass (code name: Solarium). † lucia scarlet 🩸 found the default to turn it off in macOS but it doesn't work for me: defaults write -g com.apple.SwiftUI.DisableSolarium -bool YES If

The new iOS 26 beta 1 build released today didn’t change the legibility of Liquid Glass but it does seem to be more performant and more importantly it finally enabled Workout Buddy for me.

In hindsight it might have been that Workout Buddy started working when I started a workout while on WiFi since the voice has to download. But wow, the voice is great. It sounds better than Siri even. And it is funny how it enthusiastically announces your song or podcast.

Workout Buddy on iOS 26 likes to throw out lots of stats: “This is your 3000th rowing workout”, “This is your 2000th minute of running this year”.

Saving physical card information in iOS 26 is great though I wished macOS 26 had this feature as well since the Passwords app doesn’t have a credit card template like 1Password. Apple needs to break out the Wallet features from macOS settings into its own app.

Ah, this would explain why the Jony Ive io page is down but the related “Future of Computing” job posts are still up on OpenAI’s career page.
