        The tiny hamlet of Latour had 90-odd adult males living in it in 1914. That August, 71 were rounded up and shot by the invading Germans. A walk around the tiny cemetery there shows nigh on every family impacted by these events.         Lastly today, back to 1940. The solution to the unfinished Maginot Line. Reinforced houses north of Sedan. Imagine being one of the 5 men manning this one when the Panzers arrived. BOULENGER, COLLETTE, GUILBERT BELLENOU and LE GLEUT.         Trevor Pateman Alexandra Churchill ✌🏼⭐️⭐️ Istoria Travel Dr Peter Caddick-Adams #StandwithUkraine Steve Marsdin Wallonia We went there with Istoria Travel last year doing Belgium 1914, this trip was 3 Wars in the Ardennes, Franco Prussian, Great War and WW2, absolutely superb guiding by Steve and Alex and breathtaking scenery.
 
        Dr Helen Fry | WWII Historian Yale University Press London 📖 Last week I was on an Ardennes trip with Istoria Travel led fantastically by Alexandra Churchill ✌🏼⭐️⭐️ and Steve Marsdin we saw the town memorial to the Martyrs of Tintigny which included the brothers Louis and Antony Collard who I believe were part of the White Lady Network.
