Such a shame that I won’t be running in the wonderful Hastings Half marathon this year. Most of all sad for the volunteers who have put in so much work. A tough call for the organisers but the right one.

Pleased to spend part of my Sunday afternoon acting as independent invigilator for the election of Trustees for the Charity which runs our local mosque.

Subject to tomorrow’s meeting there will be a community response hub in Hastings from Friday to meet the needs of people as they self isolate. A huge number of people and organisations have made this happen. Thanks to all.

Everyone was amazing today a process to launch a service for those in need should have taken weeks. It was achieved in 7 days. Massive thanks to all.

Our community hub now has a telephone befriending service for people self isolating. Sometimes reaching out is the most important thing we can do. Keep safe everyone
