Spent the Illini open weekend chasing 2+ year old grandson Hudson in Michigan. Caught him for a photo op.

Radio halftime entertainment provided by Dick Butkus and Jim Grabowski. The two Hall of Famers watched the Illini beat Chattanooga Thursday night.

Saddened by the passing of all-time great Dick Butkus. He and fellow College Football Hall of famer Jim Grabowski joined me on the Fighting Illini Radio Network from Learfield in September of 2022.

Congratulations to longtime friend and colleague Mark Tupper on a wonderful career. Maybe we can tee it up now that we’ll have a little more time.
