We will be looking to contact friends of the Hawfields who have businesses in the near future as we need people to help us in two ways by buying an advertising board it generates funds and tidies the pitch area as well. Costing taking place at present.

Lets just remind everyone we are trying to save this facility for the football players of NEWHALL and to succeed we need a united front. Lets focus on making this a success or who knows it might end up as yet another housing complex wirh nowhere for anyone to play football

Dan is meeting with a former Newhall player who wants to be groundsman tomorrow. Looks promising. Small steps!

More good news delivered to Trustee Les Holland yesterday will share as soon as it is completed! Very big positive

This morning Les and I met Richard Pett and some of his staff from Ground Solutions of Swadlincote who have cut the ground and started strimming the perimeter of the pitch. Looking good already after a year of neglect.

In addition GROUND SOLUTIONS have offered to maintain the pitch and surrounds throughout the 2019-20 season FREE OF CHARGE which is a wonderful gesture from Richard Pett who played for the club in the 60's

Just two weeks to register your interest that your team would want to.play on the Hawfields next season. Next lot of pitch pictures after GROUND SOLUTIONS next visit will be brilliant

More interest from a team wanting to play at the Hawfields next season. We must be doing something right lets hope we can convince the Trustees it is a viable proposition and we can get Newhall people using an important local facility

Letter to local businesses drafted today re Advertising boards at the Hawfields. If we can get a list of wno will support us its more to present to the two Trustees who are sceptical at present. Will share once approved

Graham Large from Burton Kia are the latest business to commit to a board at the Hawfields next season should we get the ok to play football again. THE INTEREST IS THERE
