A huge crowd is out in Charlottetown to watch PEI’s Alysha Corrigan and Team Canada go for Olympic gold in Rugby 7s!

Alysha is the 2nd Islander to win a medal at the summer Olympics. The 1st was pole vaulter Bill Halpenny in 1912. He got super injured while landing during the competition and pulled out. But officials ruled there was an issue with the landing mat, so they gave him a bronze!
