Blue sky with the sun shining, clear water, loads of space to run around. What more could Sirius need? #CostaKilnaughton this morning was a treat for him. THe only problem was then trying to get him to get back in the car as he was having so much fun.

Morning action for down on the water and up on the estate. Hebridean Isles leaving and a couple of deer enjoying some of our garden.

Comparing and contrasting the sizes of our ferry Finlaggan with the cruise ship Maud this morning as one was arriving and the other departing.

Not everything on Islay has something to do with ferries, cruise ships, deer or whisky. There are also some great views to be seen as well! This was the moon last night and the lights of Port Ellen on a clam and peaceful evening.

It is almost October, but it is still summer here on Islay as Sirius is enjoying playing on his favourite beach #CostaKilnaughton. Clear waters and sun glistening on the sea...what more could a happy dog want? .....

A lovely day yet again here on Islay. Just the sort of day to take things easy and for Sirius to enjoy the view with bule sky with a wee breeze to keep the midges away. A dip in the pond to chill down makes for one very happypuppy.

It might well be almost November but it was quite nice to be out and about on #CostaKilnaughton this morning with Sirius.

Yesterday there was a wee bit of wind blowing as the Finlaggan left Port Ellen in the morning. Think CalMac Ferries were trying to save a bit on window washing!!

After getting his fur all ruffled yesterday in the wind, we had one happy Sirius this afternoon as he was running around enjoying some late November sunshine.

One happy Sirius this afternoon. The sun is shining, there is no wind and his people took to not one beach but 2! First up was the beach at Port Ellen closely followed by a run on Kilnaughton beach.

On a chilly Sunday morning while taking Sirius for his first wee walk of the day....the Christmas Tree down in Port Ellen together with Finlaggan waiting to make her first sailing of the day later.

Sirius just loves the snow. He loves rolling in it, eating it and dragging himself through it.

Well, we've only gone a got a hot tub installed!! Early morning 🌄 try out after yesterday's installation. Lovely and relaxing, just the thing for aching joints.

Take Sirius for a quick walk and what does he want to do?? Try and dig anything that might be buried...

Getting quite busy down in Kilnaughton Bay as there are 2 cruise ships, Spitsbergen and Otto Sverdrup, in this morning. Wee boats going back and forth to the pontoons at Port Ellen.

Think we won't be doing much gardening for an hour or so!! More bees have decided to swarm!!

Bees now seem to be settling down a bit, even though it is in the potting shed. But still loads flying around!!
