Our team of volunteers were on hand to respond to >100 incidents in May. The spring weather certainly brought an increased demand for the service. We're pleased we were able to help patients and colleagues in South Central Ambulance Service. Only possible thanks to SCASCharity and HELP Appeal

The team had a busy June, responding to just over 100 incidents. The team have now responded to >300 incidents in Q1! Helping South Central Ambulance Service where they can by enabling #enhancedcare delivery to those who need it most. Only possible thanks to SCASCharity and HELP Appeal




Turns out my Snows Volvo V90 Cross Country is actually quite good off road (Every Scandinavian emergency service can't be wrong!) Did eventually get too narrow but saved a fair bit of walking (Still 6000 steps though) Rural responding life SCAS BASICS BASICS_HQ Safe Response

Avoiding unrecognised oesophageal intubation The Russ Carney of America & Difficult Airway Society (DAS) have agreed to drop ‘no trace wrong place’ The message now is that we need to exclude oesophageal intubation by identifying SUSTAINED EXHALED CO2 This requires 4 elements -CO2 rises & falls with respiration
