Just got a bargain train ticket to and from Carlisle so I can have a 5 day mini tour in Scotland where I can wild camp. £42 for the round trip. Works out cheaper than paying camp site fees in England.

Rule of diminishing returns applies. Furthermore, this is only average speed, which will inevitably get hammered once you don't have the road all to yourself and don't have traffic lights, turns at junctions and other hazards.
