This thread aged well. Well done to $VUL securing an offtake deal with VW. I strongly suspect $TLG will similarly follow suit following final qualification via the EVA plant in early 2022. Both companies are uniquely placed to help auto OEMs meet their decarbonisation targets.

Going to be an interesting year watching these two #Graphite juggernauts in $RNU and $TLG hit key milestones in 2022. RNU off to a blinder with their updated DFS & expecting PEPR approval in Q1. TLG expecting full commissioning of EV Anode Plant, financing & offtakes in Q1/2.

Good example of when your CEO who is also the largest shareholder is strategically holding off locking in a offtake deal at today’s prices to ensure Talga Group $TLG get maximum upside from the forecast increased demand/prices for graphite/anodes. Pressure is building on OEMs….

Nice day out for #graphite stocks: $TLG - More amazing grades hit. No wonder they have prioritised drilling program back to Vittangi rather than Jalkunen. Very keen to see results from Nunasvaara East. $RNU - Huge $185m loan from EFA, with remaining $$ likely from POSCO etc.

Also good timing for Talga Group $TLG, who will be finalising permits and financing for Stage 1 of the project likely Q2. Big question is: Can they do a $RNU and get a large component of their capex funding from EU Green funds to complement probable Mitsui JV financing?

One year on and good to see $RNU start to fulfil its potential. $TLG has basically traded sideways, but expecting it to break out in H2 on the back of permits, financing & offtake. $VUL off its highs, but top mgmt, ESG & perfectly placed to supply EU. Still holding all 3 stocks

Timely announcement from Talga Group $TLG that permits for Stage 1 will be decided on in Q3 CY2022. In the interim, we can expect MT to ramp up the financing conversations with future offtake partners, Mitsui & EU Gov’t officials to build the world’s greenest anodes.
