A new piece of legislation has been given the green light, meaning that chickens are now officially allowed to be invited to weddings in England and Wales. This is a milestone decision and the result of many years of campaigning by left wing chickens.

Real moments, unstaged snippets of time, documentary, photojournalism, reportage. Whatever you cal it, these are the moments I love to capture at weddings. Those images that tell the 'real' story, that capture real joy and emotion.

Personally, I don't really like having my photo taken. Maybe this is why I really understand how some couples feel on the wedding day. Part of my job is to help people to relax in front of the camera and forget everything else that's going on around them.

As well as silly messing about couples portraits, some couples like something a little more intimate. This kind of portrait usually comes later in the wedding day when things have slowed down and couples have had time to take everything in.
