I was so elated to find out that my grandfather created such a sanctuary for LGBTQ+ (including himself!) in the ‘70s! Can’t wait to get involved in the “obsession” and learn more about the heyday of Mr. G’s!

Why must my monthly writing workshop always fall during my luteal phase?

While thinking about getting young people reading, I'd like to ask a question: if you could teach your 12-year-old only one novel which novel would it be?

Being from the Northeast, school starting in August over here weirds me out so much. It's still high summer. Pools, not schools! Not until after Labor Day.

Thinking about when I used to say “Soder” as a kid instead of “Soda.” My cousins would get soo mad & correct me but then I’d see my grandma, who was def more of an authority than my cousins & she’d say “Steph want some soder?” in her Bronx accent & the confusion would start again
