It was an honor to serve and protect the people of the City of New York for the past 34 years, 1 month and 17 days.

He was a all-around GREAT guy who I worked with many years ago in NYPD 23rd Precinct.
Hearing him tell the story of his off-duty shooting was mesmerizing.
Very sad.
