The first neighborhood I canvassed was mostly single detached homes. I covered a lot of ground quickly. This week it was a neighborhood of flats and apartments, so much longer to knock on every door on a block.

Things were really bopping' at the Black Street Party. I got to meet some great people and talk with them about land use and street safety. [Vid description: people dancing in the street to live music]

I've received so much support from so many people. I spent a couple of hours last night writing thank you notes to some of them...and I have many more to go

What an exciting Monday! I was invited to the grand opening of Mosaic Pharmacy on Quinpool road. I really like their model of offering clinical services with a focus on diversity and inclusion. Then over to Dartmouth for the Mayor's Bike Ride with Mayor Mike Savage

Being unhoused is not a crime. What is criminal is that people act like it's a disease. Anyone can be just one step away from being homeless. One house fire. One job lost. One family illness. Remember this.

Also, selling off municipal land to developers does nothing to address the need for below market housing. It should be used for public housing, or leased to non-profits who can provide below market housing.

Had a productive day. Got to meet more neighbors. Had a chat with a community group about development, with a person from another group about housing and even squeezed in a visit to the Grand Parade to support the LGBTQ2+ community.

I ran into Lindell Smith at the Veith House Celebration today. We had a good chat about the district, the people in it and campaigning.

Got caught in some rain so starting canvassing indoors today. I got to meet some really great people that are excited to vote for me!
