Our latest paper is finally out, investigating the adsorption of nanodiscs to lipid bilayers. Great project with Tim dafforn and Karen Edler with reflectometry performed on POLREF Beamline ISIS Neutron and Muon Source. Thanks to all involved in helping this see the light of day! doi.org/10.1016/j.jcis…

It's been a labour of love - Aaron King 's paper is now out, with fab collaborators Team Perrier, @Caroline_P_B, Stephen Hall, Joe Bear, and Lara Bogart #DreamTeam sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

A surreal few days as I say farewell to Team Perrier. Not how I imagined the end of my time in the group, but huge thanks to everyone for a great couple of years. Nonetheless, very excited to join ISIS Neutron and Muon Source in the reflectivity group looking at all things soft at surfaces!

The results of a collaboration between Team Perrier and Team Stavros have been published over the festive period in J. Am. Chem. Soc.! 🥳 Congratulations to all authors involved, see first author Qiao's tweet and a link to the paper below 😀 #happynewyear

Glad to see the Team Perrier review out on the self-assembly of Cyclic Peptides. Mammoth effort from all involved (tweeps: Qiao Song, Dr. Maria Kariuki, Julia Rho, Sebastien Perrier) and chuffed to have been able to sprinkle some scattering goodness on top. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…

Spent the last week back at Institut Laue-Langevin collecting some exciting data in collaboration with Team Perrier. Enormous thanks to newly-qualified Langmuir trough experts Ramon Garcia-Maset and Sophie Laroque for all their hard work, and everyone at the ILL who helped this expt happen.

Come and join me, Jamie Mann, Paul Race and Kristen Reyher in @Bristol_Vets University of Bristol for an exciting PhD studying neglected tick-borne pathogens! If you're interested in microbiology, structural biology and pathogenesis then contact me for a chat uob-fhs.phdprojects.uk/65

Great having you visit ISIS Neutron and Muon Source for a thoroughly enjoyable experiment. Looking forward to seeing you next time! Now just all that data to analyse 😉

A fascinating tour of ISIS Neutron and Muon Source today by No1 son Stephen Hall We leant a lot (but can’t remember most of it😉). A wonderful facility that the UK should be very proud of.
