Come join our growing #cryoEM community! Assistant professor position in the BBMB at Iowa State department at Iowa State University. Our Cryo-EM Facility@IowaStateU facility is eager to produce more beautiful structures like the one below! Apply here: isu.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/IowaStat…

First pic in the Gates lab! I had a great time in Columbia this week meeting with the new Mizzou Biochemistry grad students, finding daycare, housing and claiming a lot of used equipment for the lab. Pretty good #NewPI week, can’t wait to get started in January

Please RT! The Department of Biochemistry Vanderbilt Biochemistry in Vanderbilt Basic Sciences Vanderbilt School of Medicine Basic Sciences is recruiting new faculty! Apply here: apply.interfolio.com/112443

We also have essentially a cohort of new faculty in the department. @Caschenck_Bio ZackB Stephanie Gates Adam Yokom (he/him) Very exciting time to launch (or bring) your research program here.

The Department of Biochemistry at University of Missouri Mizzou Biochemistry is hiring TWO TT faculty this year! A huge draw for me to this department was being a part of a large cohort of new faculty to go through all the #NewPI struggles together jobs.sciencecareers.org/job/616526/fac…

I’m pretty sad that my postdoc ended with being out sick due to yet another daycare virus. In some ways it helps blunt the emotions of leaving a lab and community after 5 years. I am so grateful for my time at Berkeley in the Andreas Martin Lab and will miss so many people!

Stephanie Gates and myself are looking to hire a joint lab manager! Please DM us if interested and #retweet. Perks 1. Support from two faculty = better job security 2. Low cost of living in Columbia! (Sorry CA) 3. Access to advanced EM facilities 4. Discover new biology!
