I was with TDSB Chair Rachel Chernos Lin at the Merit Award Bursary Program Awards Ceremony this evening, 260 students from Toronto District School Board and Toronto Catholic District School Board received bursaries for post secondary education totalling over $300,000. this thursday was my last board meeting at the Toronto Catholic District School Board! i’m truly grateful for this experience and the incredible support i’ve received for the past two years. this hopefully isn’t goodbye but rather, a see you later! ❤️😉

14 years ago my parents brought me to canada with nothing but the clothes on our backs and a dream for a better life. this year, i graduated as class valedictorian, honours with distinction, 1710 service hours, leadership awards, and full tuition scholarships. God is good 🎉

it was hard to find the words to send off my graduating class. they have truly inspired me and always reminded me that even though i’m in these very interesting and adult-like positions, i’m still a kid…so i took notes from dr seuss for this speech 😊
