Media people: Know any texts that deal in a systematic way with how different media can "scaffold" the human imagination? E.g., film captures part of the sensorium to generate vivid imaginings. Video games also allow for self-involving imaginings driven by conative states, etc.

Fantastic final panel on ‘Emotion and Sentiment in the Victorian Novel’. So fascinating to learn how agency interacted with sympathy in deprivations of fallen women, how pain could be resistance, and gain great insights into how sentiment can be analysed in big data. #CNCSPG2020
