We observed that a single mutation of Palm1 abolishes its MPS-binding and remodeling functions. Interestingly, Palm1 binds ß-spectrin in a region prone to mutate, causing neurodevelopmental disorders in humans. Check it out! biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
