Year three are looking at Spain today for European Day. They’ve been trying out Flamenco dance moves this morning 💃 🇪🇸

Year One have been looking at Denmark. Here they are with some of their work including weaving and exploring Lego! 🇩🇰

Year F have been looking at Greece. 🇬🇷 they were very excited to show their Zorba Greek dancing to their buddies.

Year Six and been exploring Cyprus 🇨🇾 for European Day. They learnt some dancing, created holiday brochures, learnt some useful phrases and have tasted some food. Kalamata Bread, halloumi, and tzatziki.

Year 5 looked at Switzerland. 🇨🇭 They created factfiles on the country and created some artwork of the landscape in a Paul Klee style. Wonderful!

Year Five pupils attended Primrose Lane for an afternoon theatre performance and workshop. It was an NSPCC Online Safety Workshop created by NK Theatre Company. They explored how to keep themselves safe and thought about making the wrong choices online and how to get help.

Lovely to see some of our past pupils continuing to put their faith in action in Lourdes.

Year Six can see the sea! We’re looking forward to a day of sunshine, fun and fish & chips. A wonderful way to celebrate the end of primary school.

Today the rain held off and we all had a wonderful sports day. Well done to all our runners including our parent races (and our teacher race!) The children we brilliant cheerleaders for each other and there were lots of smiles. Thank you to our past pupils who came to help!

This afternoon, we held our International Food Festival with dishes from nearly every continent! A huge thank you to the parents who prepared and provided food and made this event such a success. Year Six were fantastic helpers too, setting up the hall and serving food. 🌎

Well done to this year’s Person of Virtue winners who were presented with their certificates in morning prayers.

What a great start we’ve had to the school year. Lovely to see lots of smiling faces back in school. Thank you to the staff who have put in lots of hard work over the summer to prepare classrooms, admin and the school building.

Year 1 have been challenged to make 20 using multi link and think carefully about adding.

Lots of the children enjoyed seeing this interesting sight on the way to school this morning!

Our big buddies and little buddies have had so much fun in these first few weeks. Our older children are taking great care of our little ones. Y6 and Miss Welburn harnessed the power of AI to write an anthem for being a buddy. They thought carefully about how they would help.

The Mini Vinnies had a lovely time at the Mini Vinnie mass and represented the school really well. Well done to our altar servers who served for the Bishop.
