From green grains to golden grains…the wheat is on the turn 🌾

These chicks don’t know how lucky they are…they’ve got a front row seat for Glasto this week! 🐥 In all seriousness, the poultry team have been working HARD in the heat to ensure they stay as cool as poss. Welfare is always priority & extra fans have been added to the sheds.

In the blink of an eye, as quickly as everyone arrived…everyone left! Another dry Glastonbury Festival 🙌 & another fab one too (thanks Emily & your team!). One of the fields that belong to us is the Other Stage & there were some incredible performers who graced the stage this year.

All hands on deck to get the wheat in before the weather turned last night 🙌 We’re a good couple of months earlier harvesting this year due to the incredibly dry summer we’re having. A stark contrast the incredibly wet summer we had last year!

Delighted to say that our herd at Beard Hill Dairy has won the Seaborough Perpetual Challenge Cup for best new entrant in the Wiltshire and Southern South Holstein Club 🏆 This competition has been running since 1964 which makes it feel ever more special!
