Congratulations to all our swimmers who took part in the H&RV swimming gala this morning. A successful event and at least one gold medal each for all ten of them, amazing effort!

Two great netball matches played by our girls tonight against Bowland! Our Year 8’s lost 12-8 and Year 7’s won 10-9 but some outstanding netball on display! POM’s were Cora Morley and Eleanor Coates! Mrs Mulcrone’s player of the night was Jessica Rishton! Well done girls!

Well done to our girls who took part in the Year 7 Netball Tournament this evening! These girls have shown such commitment to training since September! It was wonderful to see their hard work pay off during their first competitive matches representing school.

Our 6th form netball team travelled to Cheadle Hulme for this weeks netball match. An evenly matched game but our girls managed to pull away in the final quarter and win 37-29. A big shoutout to our deputy Head Girl Sarah Pearson who made her netball debut today! POM Scarlett

Well done to our Year 9 girls who came 3rd place in the district netball tournament! Some fantastic netball played by all and our first ever win over CRGS! We are extremely proud of the girls!

Our girls travelled to Stonyhurst school this evening for some Year 7 fixtures! We couldn’t resist getting a team picture in front of their wonderful school buildings… even Mrs Mulcrone made an appearance! Our players of the match were Isla Wallwork and Isabelle Palich!

Year 8 and 9 Sports Leaders had a masterclass in netball umpiring today by Helen Tomlinson who is the county officiating lead. The girls learnt a great deal more about the rules of netball, how to enforce them and what it takes to be an umpire. [1]

Our Year 7 girls were runners up in the district netball tournament this evening! These girls have come such a long way with their netball skills and shown real dedication to extra-curricular practice! We are extremely proud girls - well done! 👏🏻

Thank you so much to Clitheroe Grammar School for coming over for our Year 8 fixture this evening. Our girls were fantastic and worked hard for a 5-2 win! Opposition’s player was Abigail and Mrs Mulcrone’s player of the match was our super shooter Jorgie!

Netball League Finals Night What an outstanding standard of netball played tonight by all the girls involved! Two rematches against CRGS to decide who clinches the league top spot and wins for both our Year 7’s and 8’s! Year 7 34-31 win 🥇 Year 8 21-18 win 🥇

Year 9 footballers have completed the double after an extra time victory against CRGS in the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Cup final. A very close contest that they boys worked hard to win. Well done!
