Year 5 went on a trip linked to Holmesdale Community Gardens to see what is being grown and plant some runner beans and coriander seeds . Thank you Ian for showing us around the gardens and helping us to become keen growers!

As we celebrate St Chad’s Feast Day this week, St James class led a whole school liturgy where we were reminded of his humility and his love for God #StChadsFeastDay

Lots of fun was had earlier this week as staff and children celebrated Shrove Tuesday with pancake races in the playground 🥞

On Tuesday we gathered as a school to celebrate our Palm Sunday assembly. Together we reflected on the reflection Jesus received as he entered Jerusalem. It was a thought provoking assembly, reminding us of the importance of faith and courage. Thank you year 2

Today St James’ class beautifully acted out the Stations of the Cross, sharing with the school the final moments of our Lord in a very solemn and reverent way. Their thoughtful performance provided a powerful reflection on Jesus’ journey

On Monday our Rocksteady children gave an amazing performance to the whole school and some very proud parents. Four bands each presented a piece which they have been working on with Shawn, showing their keyboard, drumming and guitar skills! Rocksteady Music School 🎹 🥁 🎸
