Year 11 mock interviews are well underway this morning

Not only is this concert in aid of Vaughan House Charity, Lindsey Lodge Hospice and Healthcare, it is conducted by one of our Assistant Headteachers, Mr Fields; features several of our students as part of Scunthorpe Cooperative Junior Choir and also features St Bede’s Alumni, James Longden. The Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes is underway. 42 wonderful students from a number of our secondary schools are supporting pilgrims throughout the week. Here they are, familiarising themselves with this special and holy location.

Day 2 - Lourdes 2024 What a day! We started this morning at 7.30am with the Grotto Mass. ✝️✝️ We also had a walking tour for those who are visiting Lourdes for the first time. 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ In the afternoon, we had a Rosary for Vocations and Passage through the Grotto with intentions.

Our last full day in Lourdes began with a very prayerful & emotional Mass with the Sacrament of the Sick. In the afternoon the young people were again in action at the ‘Geste de L’eau, the Procession of the Sacrament of the Sick & later this evening the Marian Procession.

Day 5 - Lourdes 2024 Our last day in Lourdes started with our Closing Mass at The Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary. ⛪️⛪️ After that, we had our Garden party where our pilgrims could show their talents. 🎤🎶🎶 #lourdesfrance #lourdespilgrimage #pilgrimage #talentedmusicians
