The DC & Chairman, District Disaster Management Authority, Mokokchung along with the DDMA members visited a landslide affected site which was blocked from the 27/09/24 and distributed Relief to 170 stranded travellers. 87 vehicles are stranded btwn Dikhu river and Longsa junction

District Disaster Management Authority, Mon provided immediate relief to the affected families by Fire on 30th August 2024, Wangla Village, Mon.

Emergency relief has been provided to the residents of Pherima and Tsiepama village following the landslide that damaged homes and property on September 3, 2024.

The Deputy Commissioner and Chairman DDMA, Chumoukedima, along with DDMA officials, handed over Ex-gratia to the families of the victims of the landslide that occurred on 3rd September 2024 in Pherima village.

Ex- Gratia was given to the family of Lt. B Nokching Yanchu and Lt. Benlemba of Kejok village. The same was given for an incident of flash flood at Aoyung River which occurred on 26 June 2024.

NSDMA marked a significant milestone with (Disaster Risk Transfer Parametric Solution) DRTPS first of its kind a multi tier agreement with SBI General Insurance signed in 2024. DRTPS is an innovative risk transfer solution to enhance disaster resilience in the state.

DC & Chairman DDMA Kohima hand over immediate relief assistance to victims of fire on 2/4/25 at Officer's Hill Kohima.

The 1 st batch NSS, YUVA Apdramitra training is underway at CTI Toluvi, Dimapur. YUVA Aapda Mitra which started from the 14th of July 2025 will continue till the 15th of November 2025. This training is a Scheme by NDMA and NSDMA to train 1620 volunteers from NCC, NSS, BSG n NYKS.
