CSEA at DJUSD threw their support in for Lea Darrah for reelection for trustee and Victor Lagunes, Davis Teachers Association president, for City Council. Moments prior, during his comments, Lagunes expressed support for the custodial staff.

Bourne, in public comment, stated not in her role as a UCD employee, claimed that DJUSD is "supporting the amputation of girls' healthy breasts" and called them all criminals.

Public commenter Leslie Thompson remembered last year's six bomb threats on schools, libraries, and teachers' homes and is thankful those are no longer a daily occurrence. She will never forget waking up to a text message from a member of life that the family said, "don't worry."

As Putwin Elementary in West Davis has seen the steepest decline of resident students – a catalyst for Thursday’s DJUSD BoE discussion on school boundaries– the district has seen declining enrollment, which will continue without housing development in Davis.
