Taylor Swift hops on genres like a pro and is busy winning AOTY in EACH of them, all while consistently raking both critical acclaim and commercial success for over 15 years. I agree, do not compare her to other current artists. She’s in her own league.

There were NO five versions, and almost every artist out there released multiple remixes of their song but ONLY Taylor Swift managed to make a 10-minute song go #1 with very low airplay. She can be as surprised as she wants. CRY.

Getting a song debut to #1 *along* with its album is hard since the former tends to be overshadowed. But Taylor did it THREE times, with the latest being a 10-minute song from a re-recorded 2012 album. She doesn't just break records. She rewrites and invents a new set of them.

She flawlessly crossed three genres, sought to fight for artists rights throughout her career, became the best-selling artist from from this century, changed the pop music landscape forever, and continuously bend the industry to her will to this day. Happy 32nd birthday, Taylor.

Taylor’s rollout for folklore & evermore is a product of pandemic. They are thematically and marketed as sister albums, while Sweetener and TUN are not. Taylor won the AOTY. The other lost most of its nominations to an 18-year-old. They are nothing alike.

I hope Swifties realize that the re-recordings are NOT an opportunity for them to attribute every lyric of these albums to her exes. The whole point of this project is slowly being overshadowed (as we've seen in RED TV) because a lot of you won’t stop mentioning them for clout.

Artists who write great lyrics, in a way, will always be superior to those who don’t. They form a much deeper connection to their audience and that’s why they have the most loyal fanbase and unmatched longevity other artists can only dream of.
