Today, a select group of Grade 11 students from the McEwen Business Leadership program attended the EmpowerHer Conference hosted by RBC. They took a tour of the trading floor, listened to inspirational speakers, and enjoyed one-on-one lunches with female RBC employees!

Grade 5 students are learning about the life cycle of an egg! Students were assigned an egg to monitor and follow its evolution as it develops into a chick with the assistance of an incubator for 21 days. They are super eager to welcome their new chick friends to the school! 🐣

At the Winter Term Recognition Assemblies, students were recognized for their academic, character, and athletic achievements. It was an extra special assembly as students who received character awards acquired a pin to represent their accomplishments!

Grade 7 PBL students travelled to Montreal to compete in the RoboParty competition. Congratulations to the students who placed first and third overall, and the two super teams who placed first! 🏆

Grade 11 extended French students presented the first-ever St. Anne’s French Film Festival. As a part of their final summative, students created documentaries highlighting their interviews, storytelling, and informational presentation skills! 🎬

The SAS and SAC Arts Council hosted Folklore Fest! Students from Grades 7 to 12 attended to enjoy an evening full of acoustic performances, tote bag painting, face painting, and making flower crowns. Students also had a selection of delicious treats to indulge in. 🎤

The St. Anne's and St. Andrew's community came together for a special event to launch The Nest, where we unveiled renderings of the new building and heard inspiring speeches from several speakers, including lead donor, Dem Rogers, St. Andrew’s College Class of 1959.

The Grade 5 class welcomed their chicks to the classroom! Students spent a couple of weeks caring for their new friends and watched them quickly develop in the incubator. Last week, they said goodbye to their chicks as they returned to the farm to continue their growth. 🐣

In honour of Mental Health Awareness Month, our friends from Partner Dogs Canada Inc. came to visit us! Over the lunch period, students took some time to hang out with their furry friends and unwind before going to their afternoon classes. 🐶

The annual House Games made major noise across campus as houses battled it out to see who would reign supreme as this year’s champions! Congrats to all the houses for giving it their all, and an extra special shoutout to Autumnus for claiming the championship title! 🏆

Congratulations to the SAC/SAS Junior Ultimate team on winning the CISAA gold! The team travelled to Crosby Park to compete in the final four and didn’t let the rain or wind hold them back from securing their big win. Phenomenal season, Saints and Cygnets!🥇

The Middle School End-of-Year Cygnets Ceremony was an outstanding celebration of academic, athletic, and character achievements. Congratulations to the award recipients and the Grade 8 class who will soar up to Upper School in September!

The Upper School End-of-Year Cygnets Ceremony celebrated a year of student achievements and milestones in our school’s history, including the introduction of our inaugural group of Prefects. We look forward to celebrating our first Grade 12 graduating class in 2026!
