Thx Pieter de Cock (whom I cite a lot) & Iris Minichmayr for inviting me to present at the #IATDMCT2024 pediatric session alongside them & PBPK expert Sam Dubinsky. Children aren’t small adults but precision dosing can be used for both! And my post-doc was cited in 1st talk!

If the urine antibiogram 💧📊 shows cefazolin as a highly active option, why are we so quick 🏃💨 to start empiric ceftriaxone? Fantastic study here! 🤔 Drop your thoughts below! ⏬⏬ #IDtwitter #PedsID @jmarks614 Matt Molloy, MD, MPH Jillian Cotter, MD Mike Tchou

We're honored to once again been named to U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospitals Honor Roll for the 2024-25 rankings. We ranked No. 1 in three specialties, and we placed in the top 10 for all 10 ranked specialties - cincinnatichildrens.org/news/release/2…

Congrats Rhodes Hambrick, MD, MS on publishing this research which shows we can adapt existing popPK model w/new CKRT module to better describe PK for CKRT patients & do Monte Carlo Sims. Lots of hard work by Rhodes + ingenuity of Nieko Punt but rewarded w/paper & a trip to Monte Carlo!

In my new role as GME Research Subcommittee chair, I’ve helped implement a new research curriculum for all CincyKidsFellow. Today we started with a fellow research presentation, followed by expert talks on information services for research, the IRB and basic stats.

I’m proud of every piece I publish w/my mentees but this might be a fav. Thx Rhodes Hambrick, MD, MS for teaching me how to be an upstander when I witness microaggressions & demonstrating what #vulnerability à la Brené Brown looks like. Please enjoy our stories. utppublishing.com/doi/10.3138/ij…

Sharing another piece on microaggressions that I co-wrote w/ my 1st Chinese-American mentee, Lucy Cheng. Such an eye opening experience for me to write this. Hope to publish longer version soon! Thanks Samir S. Shah & Rhodes Hambrick, MD, MS for thoughtful edits! kevinmd.com/2024/11/the-in…

Very proud to return to my fellowship Alma mater to co-present Pediatric Grand Rounds at Cincinnati Children's with this stellar group of pediatric clinical pharmacologists: one dose does indeed NOT fit all! 💊🫘🧬🧪 Thank you Sonya Tang Girdwood 鄧 智佳, MD, PhD for being a great host!
