(1/3) An anesthesia resident recently called radiology to ask for help ordering a study for a complex pt. After quick name intros, we realized that we knew each other during our undergrad time as athletes at Stanford, he was football team and I was on the soccer team.

(3/3) While great to catch up with an old friend, it was another reminder that you can excel BOTH on the field (or court, or pool, etc.) & in the classroom. Student Athletes can do both, & both athletic and academic dreams should be fully supported. Stanford Cardinal 🌲🤓 #NerdNation
