There is a type of insect called a thick-headed fly (Conopidae) I usually only see 1 or 2 a year Sometimes called bee grabbers as the female lay her eggs in female bees inflight (the bee is the eaten from the inside) Today I managed to photograph one in flight chasing a bee 🐝!
