The varsity softball team celebrated a victory over Metuchen 19-0 on their Senior Day last week. Congratulations to seniors, Kamerin Collado, Sophia Colucci, Brielle Cubala, Liz Negron, Gwen Negron, and Melody Webb on a wonderful softball career at STA.

The varsity softball team defeated Robbinsville 3-0. Gwen Negron was 2 for 3 with a run scored. Kamerin Collado was 1 for 2 with a solo homerun and Liz Negron was 1 for 3 with a RBI double. Liz Negron earned the win striking out 7 and scattering 4 hits.

The softball team defeated Morris Catholic 4-3. Liz Negron was 1 for 3 with a 2-run HR. Megyn Kerstetter and Alyssa Collins were both 1 for 3. Liz Negron earned the win scattering 8 hits over 7 innings and striking out 6. The entire team played excellent defense to earn the win.

The baseball team defeated North Plainfield to advance to the quarterfinals in the GMC tournament. They will play Edison on Thursday weather permitting. Louis Rizzolo had two hits including a double and 2 RBI's. Rizzolo earn the win striking out 9.
