John Felice of the Real Kids fame was auditioned in early 1975 for The Heartbreakers and turned it down. There's a part about it in the liners of the Real Kids releases by Crypt. "I had it if wanted it but what I witnessed down there scared me, I'd be dead within months" he told.

#LAMFriday Always loved this picture of Johnny which I think was taken at the Gibus in Paris which was a shrine to him. It captures the intensity of the performance & the excitement of the crowd. For real rock n' roll, small clubs were the best venues.

#LAMFriday Not posted this one for a very long time - saxophonist Jamie Heath, Mr. Johnny Thunders & Mick Webster, who briefly managed Johnny's last band 'The Oddballs.' I believe this picture was taken in Leeds.
