We were delighted to have Bishop Rose Hudson-Wilkin and Mr Quentin Roper (Director of Education, Diocese of Canterbury) in school today. Bishop Rose inspired us all with her words of wisdom, making links to our school's Christian values in Collective Worship and class sessions.

To celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, the School Council took part in the Woodland Trust Queen's Canopy Project and planted trees at Connaught Park. They were joined by Councillor Richardson and Liz Fisher (Chair of Governors) for this historic moment! Great job!

St Mary's Church will be open this morning (Friday) and tomorrow morning for private prayer. A book of condolence for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has been opened for all to sign and candles may be lit. The bells will toll at 12 noon today.
