This week Y3 were investigating physical and human features in our local area for their Geography topic of Settlements. In Science they were investigating the effectiveness of different solutions at cleaning old coins. It was so much fun!

This weekend, some of our Holy Communion children proudly took part in the traditional Madonna del Rosario procession through the city centre. A big thank you to the dads who helped carry the St Malachy's banner!

This morning Y5 went to Market Street to sell their own school grown produce. They made posters, decorated their stand and sold their produce to go towards Fair Share Food Charity. They also met Lord Mayor Carmine Grimshaw, who congratulated St Malachy’s on their amazing efforts!

Year 4 are enjoying creating their very own rangoli art.

Children in Year 5 attended a Peer Mediation Conference. They listened to a talk from Dr. Erinma Bell. She is a peace activist known for her work in reducing gun and gang crime in Manchester.

Children in Winston Churchill House enjoyed a trip to The Crock Trail to celebrate achieving the most house points this term.
