Over the past 2 weeks, St Dominic’s has been collecting non-perishable food items for the St Vincent’s De Paul Emergency Appeal. We couldn't be prouder of the way the community has banded together to help those that are less fortunate #smallschoolbigheart Catholic Education WA

The Gardening Club recently harvested 2kgs of broccoli from our school garden. On Friday, they enjoyed hot broccoli soup with some home made kiroshan and garlic bread, made using garlic from our garden as well! #smallschoolbigheart Catholic Education WA

Our Year 6 Leaders organised a fun Easter egg hunt last term that was put on hold due to COVID-19, however, with everyone now back at school, the team pulled out their plans and ran the event last Friday. So proud of our student leaders! #smallschoolbigheart Catholic Education WA

Tuesday 26th May was National Sorry Day a day when we recognise the wrongdoings of the past. To mark this occasion, our Year 3 class presented a prayer service using Microsoft Teams, which was streamed into classrooms across the school #smallschoolbigheart Catholic Education WA

Wed 27 May was National Simultaneous Storytime. Like many of our events at the moment, the live reading of this years book was streamed into classrooms using Microsoft Teams. Our head boy and girl shared the story with the whole school #NSS2020 #smallschoolbigheart Catholic Education WA

Recently our Year 1 class held an end of Religious Education Unit Liturgy focused on their families. Joined by Fr Bernard, Mr Bolding and Mr P, the students shared many wonderful thoughts about their families and why they love them so much #smallschoolbigheart Catholic Education WA

Following their recent Easter egg hunt fun for the whole school, the Year 6 Leadership Team is now organising a lolly jar raffle for the last week of Term 2. They decided that the money raised will go towards fixing the schools flag pole #smallschoolbigheart Catholic Education WA

Today Yr 3 & 4 celebrated a class mass with Fr Bernard in the Yr 3 classroom. During the Homily, the students were outstanding in displaying their knowledge of the Eucharist to Fr Bernard.  Fr even said that he didn’t have anymore to teach them! #smallschoolbigheart Catholic Education WA

Today our Year 4 students took part in a retreat in preparation to receive First Eucharist next weekend. We were lucky enough to have one of our parents help us bake bread to represent the meal Jesus shared with his disciples at the Last Supper #smallschoolbigheart
