Nathan took the lead in preparing a delicious meat feast pasta bake! He’s been eager to cook more fresh meals and build his independence in the kitchen. Seeing his pride in the final dish was a great reminder of how everyday skills can empower long-term change.

We’re really proud of our Digital Inclusion Programme. Our very own SSP Connect service supports customers to stay involved and informed with SSP and learn skills for independent living by taking part in our Independent Living Skills Course.

Kerem joined us just a few months ago. Today, he passed Maths & English exams, taken responsibility in his shared home by setting up a rota, and is working towards a future in aviation. With the right support and encouragement, people can build independence and find confidence.

In 2024, Stephen lost both parents & a relationship, leaving him homeless & living in his car. With support from Step Forward Hyndburn, he found safe housing, later secured a tenancy via Onward Homes & will soon be teaching music. We help people move from crisis to stability.

After being illegally evicted, Elira joined our Blackburn service facing mental health challenges. With our support, she grew in confidence, managed her eating disorder & now has her own flat in Sheffield, along with a place at university training to be a midwife! 💜

Warm homes, lower bills, greener planet. 🌍🏠 Our new properties use air source heat pumps + insulation to cut energy use & emissions, while keeping homes affordable for customers.

Nora came to us in August 2023 needing support with child benefit, school transport & her health. She’s now receiving the right benefits, has free school transport for her children & feels settled in her home while waiting for a 4-bed property.
