Executive Director, Ryan Hollingsworth, testified this morning in front of the Ways and Means Education Committee on HB310.

With 4 days remaining in the 2024 Legislative Session Ryan Hollingsworth spoke today on SB98 pertaining to school safety. In addition, SSA districts 2 & 3 were in attendance in Montgomery today.

Dr. Heath Grimes passed the gavel this morning to Dr. Wayne Vickers. Congratulations to Dr. Vickers on his upcoming presidency of SSA. In addition, SSA would like to thank Dr. Grimes for his leadership as president.

Today SSA met with Alabama’s congressional delegation and discussed a variety of educational topics. SSA would like to thank each Representative and Senator who took the time to meet with us today.
