Not happy with my limited bluebells captures from Killinthomas Woods. The light was too harsh, the bluebells were spread out and too many fallen branches leading to very messy scenes.

If the weather is favourable, think I might return and retry. Aim to go earlier in the day too.

Portmarnock misty daybreak from last September.

Here's how my April has shaped up photography wise. Still guaranteed to be my least favourite since 2017, don't like it at all.

January was ok. February was terrible but I didn't hate it. March was horrific. April was crap. 2024 to date 👎

Somebody suggested I would use the Hook Lighthouse sunset for my 2025 calendar cover. Doesn't look bad at all I must say. Will get working on calendar in autumn.

Not good photos but a sliver of tonight's moonrise through gaps in the cloud from Bull Island. Would like to clone out the cable in the second as I like how the moon is between the two ships but I'm not good at cloning.

These were the best I was able to get from this evening’s moonrise. Unfortunately it was a bit of a flop but not because of the weather, it was due to human error as the moon rose just beside the cross when it started to appear.

This'll be great to improve access to Portmarnock Beach. Always love going to the beach this way, moreso than the main entrance down by the martello as it's less busy.
