I pray tonight for queer people hurt by the Church. Seeing today’s Mass in Rome, I disproportionately feel the anger, the grief, the broken trust all over again. May these initiatives go well, may our hearts begin to heal, and may we slowly learn to trust and be seen again.

Today I offer my offices for all with CPTSD. September is both CPTSD Awareness Month and Suicide Prevention Month — not by chance. May God hold us gently in the places that still ache.
