There is a wildfire near the hamlet of Entwistle. If you are west of Range Road 65, north of Township Road 530 to Township Road 534, including all residents of Entwistle, you must evacuate immediately. Head west on Highway 16. An update with more details will follow.

There are 2 fires around #Entwistle and #Evansburg - one north of the Yellowhead and one south. Yellowhead Hwy is closed east and westbound. Eastbound is shut down at RR75A. Traffic backing up down the highway.

(1/2) WILDFIRE UPDATE April 30 @ 8pm Our fire crews continue to battle the Rge Rd 70 Wildfire. A State of Local Emergency remains in effect along with the mandatory evacuation notice. It is not yet safe for any residents to return to their homes in the evacuation area.
