Is anyone doing an alternative math class for juniors who are not headed for four year college? This doesn't seem to be anything that people are doing or talking about, but maybe I haven't looked in the right places? #mtbos

If you're using AMDM or AQR, do you think it could work in place of integrated math 3 for juniors? They will have completed the equivalent of all Alg 1, some Alg 2, and 2/3 of geometry. It looks like its intended more for 4th year math.

My students and I are enjoying delta math so much this year! Hey, Zach Korzyk, is there a way to give an assignment to a single student vs. a whole class?

I’m going to be doing some private tutoring with a 5th grader for enrichment purposes. Can anyone recommend some good resources? Looking to challenge him and not repeat what he’s learning in school. #mtbos.

Observation: As I see repeated “flatten the curve” graphics, one thing that strikes me is the x-axis of the flatter curve. If we are successful at flattening, we are in this for a long time.

Does anyone have ideas for how to end the school year via zoom? I'm looking for an activity that will be fun and bring closure. Our seniors only have a few more weeks!

I need a collaborative whiteboard that allows me to assign groups of 2-4 and view all the groups in real time, preferably on one screen. Does it exist?

Does a collection of row games for math still exist anywhere? I'm thinking of the two-column activities where two different problems had the same answer for practice with a partner. @k8nowak

Milo had many unsuccessful attempts at stacking all the pieces, so he tried using different “foundation” pieces and adjusted the order until it worked! ⁦Christopher Danielson

Silas decided it would be easier to flip the puzzle over for tower building. Then he was careful to use all the biggest pieces first. ⁦Christopher Danielson

Subbing for Math from home next week using @zoom_us is there a way to show the kids my work without me having to hold a white board up to the screen? #zoom #teacherquestions #math

Our solution for digital collaboration this year was to have students log into Classkick using the same name. It worked beautifully. Now that feature seems to be blocked. It was a lost lesson for Mrs.Frieze today and I'm scrambling for a plan B for tomorrow.
