That's a beautiful, poignant post, Zach Welch. It's a reminder that politics touches human lives and regimes can either promote or attack human dignity. Grace and peace to you and your family.

Thinking about Department of Government Efficiency for Department of Defense 🇺🇸 and suggest greater emphasis on all the waste created by Congress when they fail to fund government operations on time--including now. Spending freezes called continuing resolutions (CRs) waste $300 million taxpayer dollars per day🧵(1/8)

One of my favorite thinkers reposting my Mother’s article on my sister’s situation in China. Simultaneously surreal and heartbreaking. Thank you KSP!

Tonight, I met Senator Kevin Cramer at #RNDF. In response to my question about the qualities young people should foster in themselves, he urged me to “SERVE FIRST” by listening, and being open to advice. He gave me over 10 minutes of his time in a crowded room. What a blessing.

I finally met David French earlier in the weekend (as a @HolyPostPodcast listener, it was particularly fun to meet him on a Friday). He talked at American Enterprise Institute’s winter honors program on pluralism. Respectful, brilliant, and trying his utmost to live a Godly public life.

A few gentle reminders: 👉🏽 Refugees are in the U.S. legally, and many are brothers & sisters in Christ. 👉🏽 The U.S. receives less than 1% of the worlds refugees. (And the numbers are quite low - at the height, just over 100,00, not millions) 👉🏽 Foreign aid (including military

I know there are plenty of partisans who can and will defend the United States voting with Russia, Belarus, and North Korea. I am not capable of doing that. Even China and Iran abstained from the vote.

1/ China's Military Budget Blowout💰 Over the past 11 years, China’s defense budget has nearly doubled, growing an average of 6 - 8% per year. The U.S.? Like a sine wave; up & down, repeat. Net barely keeping pace with inflation. When accounting for hidden defense

Reports suggest brilliant planning and precision from Israel tonight, ELIMINATING senior Iranian nuclear personnel. A nuclear-armed Iran is intolerable—for Israel, its Arab neighbors, and the free world. A good night for those who still believe in deterrence! 🇺🇸🦅💥

Many of these young men are my age, sent to die on a battlefield for PUTIN’S war. 5,000 North Koreans already have. Take a moment to look at their faces. Americans, let your hearts break for them and the Ukrainians they will kill and let’s love our freedom with ferocity. 🇺🇦💔
