Resiliance is an important property of the global settlement layer. That is why #Ethereum chose client diversity. And that is why we cant have super majority clients. It is not a made up problem.

The MEV supply chain and its complicated interactions with all parts of Ethereum could use more study and testing. For me this was most clearly illustrated about a year ago in the fallout of lowcarbcrusader's equivocation attacks.
