I ran into some national, regional and local transportation leaders on the bus this afternoon! 🚌 Rapid Ride G is coming!

Earlier today, Mayor Bruce Harrell & leaders from Federal Transit Admn, Seattle Department of Transportation, King County Metro 🚏, Sound Transit - 🚆 🚈 🚍 & Dow Constantine celebrated completion of Madison RapidRide G Line! Congrats to Seattle Department of Transportation for Thursday’s opening of the Madison Street BRT, which will provide fast, frequent service in city neighborhoods. FTA Acting Administrator Veronica Vanterpool praised Seattle as the epicenter of bus rapid transit thanks to its successful RapidRide program.

Passenger service restarts Wednesday, the Seattle Department of Transportation announced.

Joyful start to the first day of school, joining a group walking/biking to John Muir Elementary along the Walden St Greenway. Approx 20 kids participated, half walking and half biking 🚴 🚶‍♀️ 🏫

Where am I?

The Pioneer Square preservation board just voted to grant a certificate of approval for the Yesler Way bike lane gap. Construction is set to happen over two weekends this fall.
