Congrats to Seattle Department of Transportation for Thursday’s opening of the Madison Street BRT, which will provide fast, frequent service in city neighborhoods. FTA Acting Administrator Veronica Vanterpool praised Seattle as the epicenter of bus rapid transit thanks to its successful RapidRide program.

The Pioneer Square preservation board just voted to grant a certificate of approval for the Yesler Way bike lane gap. Construction is set to happen over two weekends this fall.
