Another fantastic result for our Year 5/6 football team who played against Burton Bradstock. The game ended with BPS winning 3-0! Everyone played amazingly and showed great sportsmanship. #BigWin #football #fun

Just like that another wonderful year of sport has started at BPS. Well done to all of the children who took part in this weekends Tag Rugby Festival at Bridport Rugby Club. Our children played with determination and demonstrated true sportsmanship and sportswomanship!

Firstly, we have our amazing Kenway Cup football team. On Friday, they competed in the Bridport Pyramid Kenway Cup, playing some fantastic football which resulted in them winning all of their games without conceding a goal. They will now progress on to the Finals! #winners

Secondly, we have wonderful girls football team. On Monday, they competed in their first friendly match and won 7-0! 🎉 #champions #winning

Finally, we have our brilliant XCountry runners. Today, they competed at Beaminster school and did the school proud. Both year 3/4 boys and girls teams came 3rd and our year 5/6 boys team came 2nd.

For those who missed it... congratulations to the year 5 and 6 cricket team who participated in the Beaminster tournament. Great attitudes, skill, determination and respect for their team mates and opposition. second out of 8 teams- narrowly missing first place by 20 runs!

What a fantastic day! Our BPS cricketers did the school proud yesterday. Competing in the Bridport pyramid schools cricket tournament. They successfully won all of their group games and reached the finals but just narrowly missed out on winning by 5 runs. Well done everyone!
