Middle School #athlete Molly Mills is continuing to impress on the track. She picked up a silver in the 300m hurdles at the English Schools Nationals before getting two more medals representing England at #SIAB2024 - a silver in the 4 x 300m relay & a bronze in the 300m hurdles.

Her strong performances mean that she has been selected to compete at this year’s School Games National Final in the 300m hurdles as part of the ATHENS All Stars team. The competition takes place in Loughborough from 29th August to 1st September. #SGSSport School Games National Finals

Congrats to Lower School pupil Matthew Owens who has had an ace success on the tennis court! He won the boys’ singles section of the Play Your Way To Wimbledon competition at SGS & finished as runner-up at the U14 Cheshire Finals – a result that means he gets invited to Wimbledon

Well done to Molly Mills on winning the 80m hurdles at the England Athletics National Championships! After a heat and final, Molly finished in top spot as a first year in the U17 age group with a personal best of 11.37. Her time places her as the fastest English athlete in the UK!

Junior School pupil Holly B has had a successful summer with her 12.2 show pony Barkway Fascination. She was third at The Royal International Horse Show in July AEJC, Hickstead and the week before she won at Stoneleigh, qualifying for October's prestigious Horse of the Year Show.

Towards the end of the academic year Sixth Form #golfer Isabella Taylor-Stokes enjoyed an amazing competition at the English Women's Amateur Open Stoneham Golf Club. She made the cut after 36 holes and came 14th out of 124 women. What a wonderful experience! #SGSSport #golf

Pupils Amelia Bvuma and Hali Dealey ended a successful #netball season with KingswayPowerNC by winning the Loughborough Tournament. The team were undefeated during the day and the girls enjoyed meeting Loughborough Lightning Netball superstar Mary Cholok.

Molly Mills’ magical athletic summer continued as she picked up another national title at the weekend. She impressed in the #heptathlon at the English National Combined Events in Eton - getting a PB score of 4,851, with a highlight being her whopping 38.90m throw for #javelin!

We will certainly be keeping an eye on Maisie's progress now that she has left SGS. All the best!
