Her strong performances mean that she has been selected to compete at this year’s School Games National Final in the 300m hurdles as part of the ATHENS All Stars team. The competition takes place in Loughborough from 29th August to 1st September. #SGSSport School Games National Finals
Well done to Molly Mills on winning the 80m hurdles at the England Athletics National Championships! After a heat and final, Molly finished in top spot as a first year in the U17 age group with a personal best of 11.37. Her time places her as the fastest English athlete in the UK!
Junior School pupil Holly B has had a successful summer with her 12.2 show pony Barkway Fascination. She was third at The Royal International Horse Show in July AEJC, Hickstead and the week before she won at Stoneleigh, qualifying for October's prestigious Horse of the Year Show.
Towards the end of the academic year Sixth Form #golfer Isabella Taylor-Stokes enjoyed an amazing competition at the English Women's Amateur Open Stoneham Golf Club. She made the cut after 36 holes and came 14th out of 124 women. What a wonderful experience! #SGSSport #golf
Pupils Amelia Bvuma and Hali Dealey ended a successful #netball season with KingswayPowerNC by winning the Loughborough Tournament. The team were undefeated during the day and the girls enjoyed meeting Loughborough Lightning Netball superstar Mary Cholok.
Pupil Marleigh Coster spent her summer travelling around #Australia with Elite Netball Academy. Whilst there she enjoyed training sessions with NSW Swifts' Head Coach & 2 Origin Australian Diamonds players. Following his success in the Play Your Way To Wimbledon competition, pupil Matthew Owens was invited to the famous grass courts for a coaching clinic. The clinic was hosted by Wimbledon's Head Coach & he was assisted by a number of players including Laura Robson & Naomi Broady.
