Algebra I wrapped up their quadratic unit with an anchor task called “Quadratic Catapult.” They built catapults to launch mini-marshmallows in a classroom competition, then used physics equations to calculate horizontal velocity & vertical distance of their projectiles! 💥

All staff pitched in to help Lincoln teachers pack up their spaces & begin the move back to Lincoln Elementary! 📦 Afterward, staff enjoyed lunch at the Branding Iron with music by Mr. Olson. Huge thanks to the Cattlemans for hosting & to Fareway & Hy-Vee for donating the sides!
