Definitely social media! If I just read social media, I absolutely have ADHD, I have around 90% of the common traits, and quite possibly autism too. Except I don’t. It’s so much more complex than that and I think there’s a real lack of understanding by GPs too.

I live in Birmingham, I have been to/through multiple areas of the city in the past week and I’ve seen nothing like this. They must have gone to the areas with no civic pride. Most of us Brummies are not this scuzzy, bin strike or not 🤷‍♀️ bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

The BBC’s Towards Zero is a prime example of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. Agatha Christie doesn’t need weak rewrites with random new characters. Towards Zero is a brilliant book. There was proof. The TV show relied on circumstantial evidence and a dramatic confession. NO.

Disturbed by the nostalgic tone of many of the five-years-on articles about COVID. It was absolutely traumatic for a lot of us, and I don’t work in hospitals!Horrible.

I thought “levelling up” meant the government helping deprived and developing communities. For Bham City Council it means charging double council tax on cheap, small, uninhabitable homes undergoing renovation. This isn’t helping me, or anyone like me, level up, is it? 😠

We love cleaning, but the sad part of our work is if we didn't spend 10s of thousands £ every year on picking up litter & removing graffiti, we could spend that on free public festivals instead. Anti-social behaviour like littering and tagging COSTS EVERYONE. Let's stop?

The Schengen area 10-year passport rule is quite simple and clearly explained on the UK government website. Amazed at the number of people who don’t understand it and the number of news outlets reporting their mistakes as border control officials being wrong 🤷‍♀️

Why do so many metal bands miss out the birthplace of heavy metal on tour?! Until I Wake I’m looking at you right now! Loved you at Nova Rock last year, where’s your Birmingham date?!

Again, West Midlands Railway? This happens about 50% of the time I try to catch this train. What’s the excuse this week? Can I ask Uber to invoice you directly?

Please no 😢 There is so little left in Birmingham now that’s pretty and where you can actually see the sky. This has really upset me. ⁦Bham City Council⁩ enough, please protect Gas Street Basin. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Ed Sheeran might not be my first choice (French math-rock funsters Totorro at Hare & Hounds Birmingham on Wednesday 👍🏼) but this should be the kind of scene on Station Street in Birmingham outside The Crown, on a weekly occurrence. Big thumbs up to Ed Sheeran HQ. Bring music to the people.

Dear BBC News (UK) I only want push notifications for actual breaking news, not for every feature or story I read yesterday that you think isn’t getting enough attention. TOO MANY.

45 days until #BlackSabbath say goodbye at their final gig. Their birthplace, The Crown, has been closed for almost 11 years It's covered in graffiti despite our multiple requests to clean it The owners couldn't care less Bham City Council won't CPO or even demand it's cleaned 🤦🏼‍♂️

No wonder people laugh at Birmingham when it can't even be bothered to look after the parts of it that most people see on a regular basis. The complete lack of Civic pride from authorities...

I sang in a concert of video game music today with CBSO and the luminous Eimear Noone and it was fab! Not a gamer and I had no idea how good the music is. It was incredible to see a totally different and thrillingly engaged crowd in Symphony Hall. Make orchestras accessible!
